A staff member from Health in Harmony inspects a woman in the town of Sukadana. Health in Harmony, founded by American, Yale-trained doctor Kinari Webb, combines a focus on human health with environmental conservation. The organization is currently working to develop a hospital in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, that will meet the most basic needs of the poorest people. The hospital will be tightly linked with conservation efforts to preserve Gunung Palung National Park, one of the last places where orangutans still live in the wild.
